Technology Revolution in Policing

A graduate school turned passion project, this video started with an assignment asking me to capture an interview with a subject about the role of technology in their lives. Starting with former NYPD Officer Jack Leister, the video compares the role of technology in his career with that of current NC State Trooper John Eberle.

Officer Leister was part of the first computer division in the NYPD and was part of the team that digitized the 911 emergency response system. At the time, computers were taking up entire rooms. Now, Trooper Eberle has a laptop and wifi installed in his squad car.

This was an incredibly rewarding investigative report to put together.
