Flux Pedagogy at Albright's January Teaching and Learning Day Conference

We just finished a wonderful day at Albright College's semi-annual Teaching and Learning Day Conference. I presented a session about Flux Pedagogy, a concept developed by Dr. Sharon Ravitch at UPenn. She's written a lot about it since, but this is the article that originally turned me on to the idea.

This was a modification of a session that I ran in North Carolina, adapted to meet the needs of higher education faculty. Flux Pedagogy focuses on the needs of the post-pandemic learner, an important topic on Albright's campus (as well as many institutions of learning!).

We were able to touch on Brave Spaces, Trauma Informed Practices, Responsive Pedagogy, Racial Literacy, and more. Check out the slides and included resources.

Feel free to explore the wrap up article for the whole event on the DLI Blog. Full disclosure - I wrote the article, so it won't have anything additional about this session, but has resources from lots of other great sessions!
