Teaching online is significantly different than teaching face to face or hybrid. That also means that developing an online course should be significantly different than developing a face to face or hybrid course.
To address the unique needs of online course developments, we built an online certification course, culminating in an assessment and a digital badge.
Course material models best practices for online education, including principals of Universal Design, RSI, and Digital Assessment. Participants are asked to interact with several of the educational technology tools used by the College, to make sure that they are well rounded and prepared to teach virtually.
While I am not able to share the contents of the course publicly, I can share the modules list of activities and information that we share.
